Infinix GT Book Review Mid-Range Gaming Laptop

 Infinix GT Book Review

The Infinix GT Book is Infinix's foray into the gaming laptop market, aiming to provide a mid-range option for gamers. Here's a detailed review based on various sources:

Design and Build

The GT Book features a distinctive "Cyber Mecha" design with a gunmetal color, matte finish, and aluminum panels. It also includes a plastic keyboard deck and aesthetic touches like orange grilles and iridescent highlights. An RGB LED light bar on the back and four-zone RGB lighting on the keyboard add to its gaming appeal, all of which can be customized via the Infinix Control Center app

Display

It sports a 16-inch, 1920x1200 IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB coverage. The display has a 16:10 aspect ratio, which is relatively rare for gaming laptops, offering more vertical screen real estate. The thin bezels and matte finish enhance the viewing experience, and a 2MP webcam is positioned at the top of the screen

Performance

The GT Book comes with a range of configurations featuring Intel’s 12th and 13th-gen CPUs, paired with Nvidia’s 30 and 40-series GPUs. Options include the Intel Core i5-12450H, Core i5-13420H, and Core i9-13900H, along with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050, RTX 4050, and RTX 4060 graphics cards. This makes it versatile for different levels of gaming and productivity needs

Memory and Storage

The laptop includes 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 512GB PCIe Gen4 M.2 SSD. While the RAM is not upgradable, the SSD can be replaced with a larger one if needed

Battery and Charging

A 70Wh battery powers the GT Book, complemented by a 210W charger. However, detailed information about battery life and charging times is not yet available

Pricing and Availability

The GT Book is priced competitively:

- INR 59,990 for the i5-12450H/RTX 3050 model

- INR 79,990 for the i5-13420H/RTX 4050 model

- INR 99,990 for the i9-13900H/RTX 4060 model

Infinix is offering a special accessory package with all three variants for a limited time, which includes a wired gaming mouse, a headset, and a desk mat, all featuring RGB lighting

Overall, the Infinix GT Book appears to be a solid mid-range gaming laptop with a unique design and competitive specs, suitable for both gaming and general use.
